言っていなかったのは、その同時に生活費を溜まるため仕事していること。世間はなかなか優しくないから、生きるにはお金が要るね…… ^^;;

(Mushroom) - H&MC (High and Mighty Color)

(A.Grey)

The Dilemma of Kindness
Actually I meant to write in Italian, but well anyway, screw it! ...
I've just finished reading Banana Yoshimoto's "Asleep" (白川夜舟) and I have to say I found it quite inspiring. Before this I gave a glimpse to her essay "Jinsei no tabi wo yuku" (人生の旅をゆく - Going through the Path of Life -) and I found it somewhat dry, even though it had some very interesting insights on how Japanese people perceive foreigners, Italy in particular. However, now that I read "Asleep", I can say Yoshimoto really knows how to bring you in her world, while whispering you the truths of life and maybe more. The way she describes places, dreams, and people feelings is just so real, you see a vivid image of it: you grow closer and closer to the personae as the pages turn themselves one after another.
And so, when I finished reading the last of the three short stories inside the book, "An experience", suddenly a question prompted out of my mind:
What does it means to truly care about people? And how can we change our way to do so, without lying to ourselves and/or them?
Somewhat I felt that it is the whole point of it. Something I was circling around over and over, avoiding to face it directly. Yes, I want to be more direct in the way I interact with people, but if I do so, wouldn't I happen by any chance to stop truly caring about them? I kept so long avoiding hurting people, that I might have forgotten how to care for them while showing how different is my way of thinking compared to theirs.
As much scaring this could be, I'll have to take action... and get hold of this weak spot to finally get my heart free of the oppressing feelings currently withholding it.

Un binario perverso - what the hell is going on?
-> evitare -> prendere tempo -> fare qualcosa di inutile -> 罰を与える -> bloccare qualunque azione positiva -> brain freezes -> impossibility to take any action -> 自分を責める -> struggle the self over one's duties -> total failure.
Ma perche`??
What am I avoiding so desperately??

Exam Period
Studying for my exams at Venice University.
On 11th I'll be taking the first this period, Japanese History, then 14th, 24th and 30th will follow.
Reviewing I realized more than a few things, I could have prepared better, but I suppose it's all experience that comes through.
Wish me good luck.

Moderazione. Armonia. Calma. Controllo. Trattenere i sentimenti e perdurare.

Running Back and Forth to Venice

My beloved friend came here in the Peninsula for five days. Yesterday she left the country and went back to Japan. After failing the exam, preparing to live once a again in the City on The Water, I felt kinda gloomy, not to say hopeless towards the future. Yet going around to show her all the different places I found during the years I've spent there, seeing her smile and her surprise while we travelled to all those different places, keep talking about many different topics as we waited the trains to reach their destinations: all this let me feel like I took a fresh breath of air. I really needed it, moreover spending this time together made me realize even deeper how well we stay together, and she became even more important to me. Now I have something more to be looking forward to in life, and that's the most beautiful present she could make me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
tal che mi fece, or quand'egli arde 'l cielo,
---
The lover never liked Diana more,
when he accidentally saw her without any clothes
while she was bathing in the fresh water,
then how I liked the rustic and shy young shepherdess
dedicated washing the delicate veil,
as she ties her blond wavy hair to protect them from the breeze,
so much that in the very moment the sky is burning up,
my whole is shaking of cold shivers of passion.

How To Apply Contact Lenses
You can find good vids on youtube on applying contact lens... just like this one:
Yet I feel for a total beginner like me it's still not enough...
Will I ever be able to put lens fast and smoothly??
Moreover it seems like my eyes don't really like them...
Two things I found to be useful myself (but might be totally wrong, so be careful):
1. If you pull down the skin under your eye and try to insert one side of the lens in the created opening it seems the lens will most likely just go in place themselves..
2. When you try to pull out the lens it is good to bring the lens down with a finger first (in the area created pulling down the skin under your eye) and only then try to get it with two fingers....
Well, last time I tried I really couldn't help closing my eyelid and I got my eyes quite itchy... T^T

Esame
